A project born from Paper Art's Creative Employment Programme; a six month course for creatives with learning disabilities, autism and ADHD. I was employed as a mural artist; facilitating the collective in bringing their design to life on the 54ft long wall.
Documentary photos by Paco Mayoral
Black and white film photos by the documentary photographer, Paco Mayoral who happened to pass by and capture some beautiful images of the collective in action.
Time lapse by Bilal Koseoglu
A neighbour who lived opposite the wall kindly made a time lapse for us. He sat for hours watching and filming several days of the mural installation. It's lovely to see all the different people who stopped to watch and asked questions. I was assisted by the illustrator and muralist, Yoli Ward-Streeter for the first few days of painting and then 'A Typical Collective' joined to work of their particular areas.
